New Board Chair Baptiste To Focus on Budget, Finding New Police Chief
Patricia S. Baptiste, the new chair of the Chevy Chase Village Board of Managers, is an organizer of the Connecticut Avenue Corridor Committee and has volunteered with Mobile Medical Care, Inc.
Last month, Chevy Chase Village elected two new members to its Board of Managers, and—in a public meeting at the Village Hall—the board voted Patricia S. Baptiste as chair. Baptiste is no stranger to Village Hall. She served on the board from 1982 to 1991, and rejoined the board last October. “I’m very pleased to be back on the board … (and am) very honored to be chosen chair,” she said in a telephone interview.
