Could New FBI Headquarters Come to Montgomery County?

In November 2012, the General Services Administration (GSA) announced a search for real estate consultants to seek suitable locations to move the FBI’s headquarters from 935 Pennsylvania Avenue in Northwest Washington to a more suburban location, including several in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. Numerous locations have been mentioned for the federal law enforcement agency, according to a recent article in the Washington Business Journal. In N. Bethesda, the Grosvenor metro with it's large garage parking could be a potential location. Two underutilized Forest Glen locations also come to mind: the Forest Glen Anex (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forest_Glen_Annex) has a large campus and the Forest glen metro station where there is a surface parking lot.   more ›
