A snowman, his wife and child were seen dancing in Chevy Chase, DC.

The sight of dancing snow people in Chevy Chase, DC, caught our eye Wednesday afternoon. It turns out that an area adjacent to Chevy Chase Recreation Center on Livingston Street, NW, is filled with holiday inflatables. Santa Claus is there, too! Wednesday's 10 to 15-mph winds—with gusts of 20 to 25—caused the colorful decorations to dance wildly. It was quite a sight to behold!

Deck Your House to Win $100,000 for Montgomery County Public Schools

Here’s how the contest works: Beginning on Dec. 8 and continuing through Dec. 26, you can nominate your home by uploading a photo to the contest entry form on the contest website. During that same time, you and your neighbors will also be able to vote for your favorite festive home in Chevy Chase. Decorations around the Chevy Chase Center are set for the holidays.

Next week Black Friday will kick-off the unofficial shopping season,  but the Chevy Chase Center shopping area in Friendship Hieghts is already set to welcome the holiday buyers. Last week crews decked out the area with garland, wreaths and bulbs.
