Bradley Cooper Attends 'Silver Linings Playbook' Screening At Walter Reed Bethesda

The screening of the Oscar-nominated film was organized by Bethesda group "Give an Hour," which provides free mental health services to military personnel.

Actor Bradley Cooper attended a screening of his new movie "Silver Linings Playbook" for U.S. military personnel at Bethesda's Walter Reed National Military Center Thursday evening, according to news reports. In the movie, Cooper plays a man suffering from bipolar disorder. He's nominated for an Oscar for the role. The movie has racked up a total of eight Oscar nominations, including best picture. The screening was organized by Bethesda-based non-profit "Give an Hour," which provides free mental health services to military personnel, Variety reported. “We’re going to show it to about 50 guys, and do a Q and A afterwards," Cooper told Chris Matthews on Hardball. The Great Escape: Free Community Yoga at Circle Yoga

When you need a break from the kids, grab a sitter and check out local possibilities.

Your teens are helping with a fundraiser at the high school Saturday. The grandparents volunteered to take the younger children to a movie Sunday afternoon. Your tweens take tap on Wednesday evening. It’s your time. Take it.  Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much-deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier, or just to help you recharge.  Join Circle Yoga (just south of Chevy Chase Circle in Chevy Chase, D.C.) for a Free Community Class each Saturday, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Classes are “All Levels,” which means that all are welcome.
