Mussel Bar Hosting 12/12/12 Toy Drive For Hurricane Sandy Relief

In honor of 12/12/12, Bethesda Row's Mussel Bar & Grille is hosting a toy drive for Hurricane Sandy relief. Those who drop off an unwrapped toy at the Bethesda Row eatery today will be rewarded with a free chocolate treat to mark National Cocoa Day -- triple chocolate gateau with Young's Chocolate Stout Creme Anglaise and vanilla ice cream. Mussel Bar owner Robert Wiedmaier will collect toys for children in New Jersey displaced by Hurricane Sandy on behalf of his employees at the Mussel Bar & Grille location in Atlantic City, NJ. Chefs David Guas of Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar and Eatery in Arlington, VA and R.J. Cooper of Washington, DC's Rogue 24 will also participate.
