As I prepared for the launch of the Chevy Chase Patch, I was excited to meet members of the community and attend the area village and town council meetings. I was even more excited when a topic close to my heart was brought up at some of the meetings. At the most recent Town of Somerset Council meeting, Councilmember Barbara Zeughauser said she was concerned about transparency of the council to the community. So glad you mentioned transparency, Councilmember Zeughauser! That's what Patch is here for. From crime to schools to council meetings, a team of freelancers and I will be doing our best to cover what's important to you and the community.
