Sharon Love Files $30M Suit Against George Huguely
Huguely was convicted in February in the 2010 killing of ex-girlfriend Yeardley Love.
The mother of slain Cockeysville native Yeardley Love is suing her daughter's convicted killer for $30 million. The Daily Progress reports that Sharon Love's wrongful death suit against George Huguely was filed Thursday in Charlottesville (VA) Circuit Court. In February, a Charlottesville jury convicted Huguely of second-degree murder and grand larceny in connection with Love's death. The jury recommended that Huguely spend 26 years in prison—a sentencing hearing is set for Aug. 20.
