Virginia Police Ask Prince George's, Montgomery Counties to Help Find Killer

After one week, an Arlington, VA, killer remains at large, and police are requesting the help of neighboring communities.

A two-year zero-homicide streak for Arlington County, VA, ended last week and police are asking Montgomery and Prince George's county residents for help in locating the killer of jewelry store owner during business hours on a busy street. Police say 52-year-old Tommy Wong was killed during an armed robbery of his Columbia Pike jewelry store, Capital Jewelers, and his killer remains at large. Capital Jewelers is on Columbia Pike between Walter Reed Drive and Glebe Road. At 4 p.m. on a Friday, when investigators believe Wong was killed, it's a busy area — particularly with a popular Thai restaurant next door to the jewelry store.
