Divino Lounge Closes Doors on Wisconsin Avenue
Unsuccessful rental negotiations caused closure, according to owners.
Bethesda's Argentine steakhouse Divino Lounge has closed its doors on Wisconsin Avenue for good, though this may not be the last we see of the restaurant. The steakhouse opened with much fanfare 10 years ago, but in recent years has seen a decline in patronage, according to Bethesda Magazine. In December Bethesda Magazine speculated on the restaurant's closing, citing a dark interior and locked doors: Now a "for rent" sign hangs above the space, and Divino's owners had this to say on the restaurant's website: Dear friends and customers: I would like to take a few minutes of your time to thank you for having accompanied me during these 10 years.
