Meet Indique Heights Chef K.N. Vinod
Chef Vinod imbues area restaurants, Indique Heights, Indique and Bombay Bistro, with spice-infused Indian cuisine.
When K.N. Vinod is not at one of his three Indian restaurants, chatting with one of his regular customers (the roster includes the likes of Andrea Mitchell and Supreme Court Judge Sonia Sotomayor) or teaching a class on Indian cuisine at the Smithsonian, he can be found with his family at his home in North Potomac. Chef and co-owner of Indique Heights in Chevy Chase, Bombay Bistro in Rockville and Indique in Washington, D.C., Vinod emigrated from India in 1985. In addition to cooking, his new passions are photography and blogging. In his blog, Vinod reviews local restaurants, features recipe ideas and pictures from his latest travels. North Potomac-Darnestown Patch recently made a visit to Vinod's home kitchen in North Potomac.
