Chevy Chase Library Temporarily Closes Monday
Library patrons who checked out materials during the weeks of Nov. 19, Nov. 26 and Dec. 3 have had their materials' three-week due dates extended so that the materials will be due the week of Jan. 2.
The Chevy Chase Library will close Monday, Dec. 10, for repair, replacement and renovation of the mechanical piping distribution system that helps heat and cool the building, according to the county library system's website. The library will open back up on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at an as-yet-to-be-determined time, the library's website reported.
