Barbara and her husband George are the owners/operators of Bahoukas Antique Mall & Beer MuZeum at 408 N Union Ave in Havre de Grace, and Bahoukas GreenJoy (467 Franklin Street). Barbara is a Registered Dietitian with a Plant Based Nutrition Practice located on the second floor of Bahoukas GreenJoy.

Barbara is former member of the City Council for the City of Havre de Grace, as well as a former member of the board of Directors of Havre de Grace Main Street Inc, and Immediate past President of the Havre de Grace Green Team.
