Ben, eloquently said, and I could not agree with you more. It is true that religion has been abused and misused in countless ways. Nonetheless, religion provides a true reminder to man that there is something above him to which he has to answer. Like you, I fear for a world that has no fear of God. For the irreligious, suicide might look like a way of avoiding the consequences of these murder rampages. But for those of us who believe, we know that even after the grave, we have God to answer to.
