Kerry Malawista, Neighbor

Kerry Malawista, Ph.D., is in private practice in Potomac MD and McLean VA. She is a Training/Supervising Analyst <i>The Contemporary Freudian Society. </i>She has been on<i> the </i>Faculties of The George Washington University Ph.D. and Psy.D. programs; Smith College School for Social Work; Virginia Commonwealth University School of Social Work and other local training programs. Her first book, along with Anne Adelman and Catherine Anderson “<i>Wearing my Tutu to Analysis and Other Stories</i>” came out in 2011 with Columbia University Press.  Her most recent book, with Anne Adelman is an edited book titled <i>The Therapist in Mourning: From the</i> <i>Faraway Nearby </i>will come out this April. Her essays have appeared in <i>Zone 3, The Washington Post; Voices;</i> and <i>Living with Loss, </i>alongside many professional articles.
