Potomac native Marisa Landau loves and lives dogs. She is the General Manager of DogCentric, Inc., a local dog walking service in lower Montgomery County and NW DC. She also plans dog-related events throughout the community such as "yappy hours" and other dog outings. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Northeastern University in Boston, MA where she completed her honors thesis on training service dogs using non-verbal communication. Marisa also spent a semester training service dogs in Atlanta, and another working with endangered animals in New Orleans. She lives in Bethesda with her loving but mischievous dog Kaya, a "service dog drop-out". She has worked with dogs for many years and hopes to share her four-legged experiences with the world. Kaya has selflessly volunteered her editing skills in exchange for treats.
