ReplyHey Brian --
Nice list.
I just hear Foreigner's " Don't Wanna LIve Without You" on the radio. That's a super love song that, compared to other Foreigner hits, I think doesn't get much recognition.
Also, in 1989, Chicago had a single called "We Can Last Forever." Not one of their biggest hits, the lyrics are great.

Excellent article!
The fact that the cylinder records were found inside the library makes this further interesting for me, because that is my favorite spot at the location.

Someone may want to look into this. When Bloomfield and Montclair faced each other up until 1976 (the series then was discontinued for about 8 years), I heard the played for hunk of coal. Its whereabouts is unknown, but someone told me back in 1981 that the Montclair Art Museum had it.

Thanks folks for the comments here.
One of the nice things about the "Five Questions..." column is reminiscing about the past with the source. With Mr. Barry there was much to recall, and not all (unfortunately) could fit into this piece.
He's a wonderful man, and has a wonderful wife and family. The piece was a pleasure to write.
