As a Federal emergency manager in DC, I consult many Federal, state, local, private sector, and institutes of higher education regarding disaster preparedness, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations planning.

I am a DHS-certified instructor in Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) as well as many FEMA courses. In 2011 I earned my FEMA Level 1 Professional Continuity Practitioner and Level 2 Master Continuity Practitioner and was accepted into FEMA’s Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) with a completion date of September 2012. Additionally, I’m a member of the Metropolitan DC Association of Contingency Planners, the Maryland Emergency Management Association (MEMA), the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), and a proud founding member of the IAEM Emerging Technology Caucus.
