SEVENTH ANNUAL TASTE OF FRIENDSHIP HEIGHTS

The Taste of Friendship Heights will
showcase some of the area’s premier restaurants, including new restaurant Mi
Cocina. Other participating restaurants include Clyde’s, Indique Heights,
Lia’s, Maggiano’s, Rosa Mexicano, P.F. Chang’s, Alfio’s, Whole Foods, Frosting
Cupcakery, Potomac Pizza, Courtyard Marriott and Sunrise Brighton Gardens.
Several local organizations are sponsors and contributors to the event,
including Sam Solovey of Long and Foster Real Estate, Inc., TTR Sotheby's, Eye
Doctors of Washington, Nancy Mellon Realty, Renewal by Andersen, CapitalOne
Bank, Georgetown Bank, and Chevy Chase Florist.



Attendees
will purchase food and drink tickets ($5 for 4 tickets), and no food or drink
item will cost more than 3-4 tickets. A portion of the proceeds from the event
will be donated to a local charity, the Community Council for the Homeless at
Friendship Place.



 There
will be a raffle at the end of the event, where attendees can win gift
certificates to local restaurants. 
Entertainment at the event will also include live music, a moon bounce,
a clown and face painting. The American University basketball team will be on
site to shoot hoops with kids and give away prizes.
