Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda recently entered a nation-wide contest to put together the best music video for Katy Perry’s hit single “ROAR.” Within a span of 2 days, our student-run and produced video entry has become a viral sensation. At Whitman, our ROAR stems from passion, sportsmanship and perseverance. Together, we raised over $91,000 last year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, earning us the title of number one fundraising school in the country. If we win, Katy Perry will perform at Whitman on the day of our Homecoming—October 25. Please check out the video, share it with friends and celebrate our Viking ROAR.
